Mysterious Figures

Well it has been almost a week since the Asylum sold and construction on it began immediately. Most of the changes seem to have taken on the inside, but no one has been allowed to enter.

We have noticed some mysterious figures entering and leaving in the middle of the night, and we have been secretly following them.

The first one seems to be.. odd.. After leaving the Asylum, he goes to the fish market, buys fish then drops by the Montrifer senior citizen home. One he leaves there (without the fish) he heads to the park, whispers to some trees it seems, and then heads back to the Asylum.

The second one we discovered at the park. He seems to be not human and can almost teleport, with how he disappears into the trees and appears out of others. He only makes contact with some bird it would seem. Who would want to talk to a bird? They really do not have much intelligence…

Once they finish their talk, the bird seems to fly to Montrifer school and is met by a student. We can not identify who that student is for he wears a dark cloak so hide his identity.

After waiting for that student it, every day he travels to the Asylum, and on his way there, he seems to whisper to the lampposts.. These mysterious figures are quite odd…

We have no idea who these figures may be but we have had tips to investigate the lampposts, which we did. It seems at night, when they are lit, they come to life and go shopping and in the end, return to the Asylum and return to their spots before day returns.

We will be accepting any hints of who these people may be. We must crack this mystery and discover who bought out the asylum!

Asylum Finally Sold!

Rave Cave

After two whole decades since this building first went up for sale, it has finally sold!

Some history…

This asylum was once the famous Roovenhoft China Shoppe. No where in the world of Pennicia could you find a better piece of china! Business was booming, well that is up until the Great War. The three Roovenhoft boys were sent to war against Lalt and only when news returned that they had died did the Shoppe finally close. It was empty and used as a warehouse for a while. When Lalt attacked Montrifer on the Violet Night, it was ransacked and everything was stolen from within. It was oddly the only building left standing in Montrifer after that night.

The Roovenholfts did not let losing their possessions get to them. They quickly recovered, that is until nearly three years after the news that their children had been killed. Katherine Roovenholft became very ill and after several months, passed away.

Walter Roovenholft was now losing his mind. All of his family and loved ones were out of his life. To protect the outside world from himself, he turned his warehouse into an insane asylum. Here he lived for the next thirty years. Others who stayed here and caretakers were interviewed and all stated that Mr. Roovenholft blamed himself for his families death.

After living out thirty years of pain and sorrow, Walter Roovenholft passed away in his sleep on the second floor. Being the last of the Roovenholft heir, the asylum was put up for sale. Everyone knowing the tale of the Roovenholfts, avoided the asylum and said that his spirit haunted it now, and would kill anyone who dare take his last possession away from him.

No one knows who exactly bought out this asylum. Whoever they are, they are either very brave, dumb, or may not even know the tale at all! We will keep you updated on any news that we may find out about the new owner of the Roovenholft Asylum.
